Jim has been an attorney with the firm since its inception. He received a B.A. in Political Science from Ohio State University in 1999 and a J.D. , cum laude, from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 2002. Jim’s practice areas include: Personal Injury; Juvenile Law; DUI; Criminal Law; Family Law; Collections; and general civil litigation.

He is a member and current President-Elect of the Geauga County Bar Association and serves as a member of both the Grievance and Bar Admissions Committees. Jim is also a member of the Lake County Bar Association and Ohio Bar Association. Currently, he serves as a member of the Geauga County Law Library Resources Board.  Jim also serves in the Lake County Juvenile Court as a Guardian Ad Litem for abused, neglected and dependent children.

Jim has served as a Councilman for the Village of South Russell since 2006 and is the Council representative on Planning Commission. He is a member and past President of the Bellwood Lake Homeowners Association Board of Trustees and a lifetime member of the Ohio State University Alumni Association.
